Lecture and Seminar

November 16th 2006 Christian Veddeler and Holger Hoffmann are lecturing at the Aarhus School of Architecture, Denmark. The lecture about digital design techniques will be the kick off for an intense seminar on digital design, November 17th-20th.

The seminar is aiming to explore the potential of the interactive transformative use of geometry based on precise computer-programs in two different steps: the workshop will give insight into the architectural methodological and theoretical implications of contemporary computer-based design techniques. Furthermore we will shortly explain the possibilities and restrictions of different 3d-modelling and rendering programs and then give a deeper introduction into McNeels NURBS-modelling Software Rhinoceros 4.0. This will be the basis to explain the possible application of advanced modelling tools within architectural design.
