STUDIO MEDIATHEQUE

>>The Médiathèque is the meeting point of various traditional and new programs and it is their physical proximity inside a single building that bears the promise of a newfangled public space that gathers people from different areas, expertise and experience. The aim of this studio is to question the role of architecture and its unique ability to provide an intensification of public space based on the ordering of proximity, of sharing space in a specific way.<<

During this spring term Holger is teaching a Design Studio on the topic of a contemporary interpretation of the ?Mediatheque' as a public building. The Studio is part of the Department Public Buildings led by Prof. Barbieri and Dr. Tom Avermaete.
