CHRISTIAN VEDDELER
1975
received the degree Master of Science in Architecture and the degree of Engineer in Architecture, Ir. from Delft University of Technology with honours. He holds a professional degree in architecture, Dipl.-Ing. from Münster School of Architecture. From his study of History of Arts, History and Sociology he got a MA intermediate diploma from the University of Münster.
Currently Christian performs as project architect at UN Studio, van Berkel+Bos in Amsterdam.
Prior he collaborated with United Architects, Amsterdam/New York/Los Angeles; with Bolles+Wilson, Münster and Goldman+Firth, Los Angeles.
Together with Holger Hoffmann and Sven Pfeiffer, Christian Veddeler founded 'GDL- genericdesignlab' in 2003 as an independent research and teaching institute of advanced architectural design: he taught as tutor at the Berlage Institute Steel Masterclass and was unit master at Muenster University of Applied Sciences in bachelor-, diploma- and master-courses. He was a guest lecturer at Gothenburg's Chalmers University and visiting tutor at AAA Aarhus School of Architecture. Currently Christian teaches architectural design at Delft University of Technology.
